We had a great time exploring Washington DC last week. Neither one of us had ever been before, and it's so exciting to see all of the monuments and museums. It has been a pretty busy summer for traveling. We went to Chicago at the beginning of June to see Tom's grandmother and uncle. We have been lucky enough to see two really neat cities this summer. We also got a chance to see all of my extended family in DC. My cousin, Sarah, got married on July 11th. It was a beautiful wedding and the Haug Family sure knows how to party it up at weddings. It is so nice to be home, even though we had a great vacation. There are many household projects that I want to get done before school starts. I also have some school projects that I want to work on. We don't have any more traveling plans for the summer, so hopefully we can start working on our "to-do list."
